The Town of Flora is located in Monroe Township in the center of Carroll County.  Minutes of its town council meetings are found under Information, Document Library at this website.  Flora's Clerk-Treasurer is Joretta Tinsman, and Council members are Joshua Ayres, David Albaugh, and Vince Seward.

Flora is home to the Carroll Consolidated School Corporation which serves the eastern part of the county.

Flora has a very large park which includes the 4-H Fairgrounds, ball fields, playgrounds, and numerous buildings. 

The Carroll County Community Center is located at the edge of town.

Flora is the home to numerous businesses and restaurants, churches, senior housing, and a community center.  On Fathers Day weekend, it is host to the annual Hog-Jog foot races and the Idlers Cruise-In car show in the park.  In the fall they sponsor Moonlight Madness.

 

The public library provides numerous services, and the airport is located west of town.  The Community Club, Rotary, Lions, and other groups provide many public services for the community.
